Default gender influences

When you assume the gender of a poster, because of the name, picture, or a reference made in a post, do you make an automatic generic attitudinal change in your replies to that person's posts, from then on?

"I know this is painful for the ladies to hear, but if you get married, you have accepted the headship of a man, your husband. Christ is the head of the household and the husband is the head of the wife, and that's the way it is, period."

Well of course I was born and raised mostly in the south it makes all the difference how you talk to a woman than a man. Or if the man is like 70 or 80 it is different how you talk to them, It's called respect.

To me it's a natural reaction. I think gender impacts all life forms.

But, on this forum, I find people react to me differently, depending on the topic. Generally it doesn't effect me, I like the anonymity except when I sense the lack of a concrete gender is affecting the person I'm talking to. I feel bad for them.

That don't mean you don't respect her mind opinion and invaluable contrabution to the partnership. Being head of the house hold makes you responsable when things go to crap it don't make you the dictator son. I know that is painful for you to hear. lol My best friend tried that crap and I told him even the most timid girl becomes a woman one day. And you treat her like a dog long enough she is going to bite you. Well lets just say he learned his lesson and learned from it thank god because he is much happier now and has a kid. Good luck man

No, although there are inherit basis's because of your sex, race and Geo-political-economic factors that play a role in how people inter-act with each other.

When discussing world events, are you aware of feeling a deminutive attitude toward a woman that you wouldn't feel talking to a man? Because, I'm aware of it in myself, for an instant until I get into the discussion, or unless the woman is someone like Sam or Mom Adams.
