Default rdnor got good news .

The docs said that due to exceptional general health and 100% donor match , we can get on with the transplant . Don't get me wrong it will not be easy , it just got much less stressful though . Let's keep others that are not here in our prayers , please . R .................................................. .....

Good things happens when one has a good attitude, you certainly have helped yourself in that regard.......as always we ask for the hands of your caregivers to be blessed with the skills that is required to carry you through to the health that you deserve......May God bless your recovery. BD

I have to have a stem cell transplant because of leukemia . They have had me on some radical chemo which had me thinking at times they were trying to kill me but I guess I was wrong . All those years of sit ups and slinging iron seems to have helped as well .

My wife bought me a set of weights once....and they seemed to work just fine, as they lived up to everything that had been advertised....every time my wife would say "let's go workout".....I"d respond..."We will, wait". Now they just set there "waiting". BD

I have always been a hands on kind of weightlifter . If I wanted to eat , I had to put my hands on it and weld it You don't have to be Charles atlas jsy take long walks and do the funky chicken when you get a chance . Any movement is good . My BROTHER was promoted to a desk job eight years ago , now he has retired (at 54) and lost 14 # . I am proud of him , he said he was doing it for me but I think just the stress relief of retiring has helped him mucho .

I get my share of physical activity...but I am somewhat limited to just what I can indulge in......as I have lower body issues. But never the less I do what I can to stay active....I golf...if one could call what I do golfing. I do have several machines designed for cardio concerns......but I just could never get into weight lifting....I was always concerned about the time that I would have to quit and the results would be the muscle structure built would be to much work on my limited ambulatory concerns....and would turn to fat. Well anyway, it's good to see you in such good spirits and I hope everything works out for the best. BD
