All I know is that I'd pay $7/gal to put horse piss in my truck if it would get the Arabs and the corporatists off my back.

I feel about the same way.

There is also 'supposed to' be an ethanol plant that is going in just south of the I 240 loop by the MS River in South Memphis but we will see. Yes, I WILL TAKE the governors of states to do this because the federal government is not.

I did see a show over 6 months ago on PBS about Brazil and the success they have had with ethanol made from sugar cane. They feaured companies that were completely using ethanol for energy.

I do not think ethanol from corn is any solution due to costs, transportation of the fuel and impacting food production.

Other than having a green thumb with plants, that is about as green as I get.

I must admit though, I'm all for alt-fuels. Not sure what impact it will have within my lifetime, but will gladly convert.
