Lets play the "Find the illegal immigrant!" game!!!
Yes, you too can play this fun game at your local university. Just join the republican student group!
Quote:
College Republican President Sarah Chambers added: "Just because we don't want illegal immigrants being able to completely disregard the laws of our country doesn't make us racist."
College Republican campaign chairman David Laska told the New York Daily News: "Is it politically correct? No. But is it racist? Absolutely not.

Students act as immigration officers and try to find a student in a crowd designated with a badge as the illegal immigrant.

So we are looking for people who don't look like immigrants?
Why don't we go after the real criminals? The real criminals are the companies that outsource our jobs to other countries. We now have only a service industry here in America. And of course anybody can do a service industry.
We need to start attracting foreigners back in to our country!

Preaching to the choir on that. The US as a whole is guilty.

Hi Cat, I heard of this "game", here's a link to the story. It was tried once and drew more protesters than participants.

Cat; this was also brought up in politics in the news about reverse role playing. I remember replying to in regards to my 6th grade teacher doing something similar; Sunshine vs. Shadows. Found it.

We play a similar game here. Only it is a real illegal immigrant. We get up from our desk, walk to the window, look out and the first person to count 15 illegal aliens wins. The game lasts for about 4 minutes.
It worries me that people are more worried about offending the illegals than they are about securing our borders, our economy, our healtcare and education systems. All of these are under attack.
BTW..I am in Tucson, Arizona

When I was a kid we played a game called bingo that was very similar to this. We would be in the car driving, usually to church, and all the kids would be looking for VW Bugs. The first person to say bingo got a point. The first person to 10 won. We might have about 5 to 10 games in each direction.
Many years later my kids and their friends, on the way to the mountains to hike usually, would play the same game but we'd be spotting mercedes. Each game to 10 would be very quick so we often changed it to 50.
Now I guess it's time to change the game to spotting illegal immigrants!!!

Sorry Cat, I didn't see your post until just now. Let me know if you still need it and I'll go find it.

OK, now I read it...thanks GB.
So, what is the purpose of the game? Did I miss something here?
Even being a campus in the South our administration probably would have shut the game down. NYU was proobably trying to stay PC by not making it go away.
Again...what was the game for? Did I miss something?
