Yes I know Bush admin. did do away with billys beaten path on the locked box SS funding illegal immigrants.... but lets not evade and avoid the billions of dollars lost on that idiot decision.
American scientific technology will not suffer while we control our borders if not shut them down for terms.
This my dear is a socialist democrap scare tactic which repubs unfortunately buy as well.
Nope I don't buy it.
We have illegals coming here and buying property for shits sake.
Illegals who are criminals and taking on stolen SS#'s.
We have illegals slave trading and living on government dollars while THEY have full covered health care.
I'm not scared, I AM APPAULED.

And your perfectly right. Nobody wants their tax money going to them. Nobody wants them breaking laws and crowding jails and the like.
But to think that locking them out will solve the problem is ridiculous. The problem exists because of loopholes and laxity in the US immigration system.
In short, the USCIS and DHS have failed to progress and change and adapt as society, technology and challenges adapt.
Guess what? The US is the only superpower in the world right now. We offers opportunities and securities and benefits that nobody else in the world does. You bet people see that. You bet they want to be a part of it. In fact, your probably here because someone somewhere decided they were sick of their miserable life back home, hopped in and decided to come chase the American Dream.
The problem is that we need to adapt and find a way to apply more control so that only properly qualified people come in (background checks, proper ID enforcement), that they come in to fill the jobs they are needed for, and so that we help them integrate into society. And believe me, this has happened before. We had a terrible nursing shortage a while back and USCIS(then INS) relaxed restrictions on visas for foreign nurses. They may talk different, look different, eat different foods, but eventually they become Americans.
And they pay taxes too. This way you pay for their medicare but they pay for your unemployment. You pay for their kids' schools, they pay for your disability checks.
And maybe in the meanwhile we can find some ambitious, hard-working Americans who will go out and pick produce in seasonal jobs, working long hours in the hot sun for meager pay and no benefits. Or perhaps funnel all our obese kids into these jobs for a double-whammy.
Solving this issue is much more comprehensive than just sealing the borders. Its involves a lot more than your tax dollars too. Your messing with the shape of American society here.
