There are millions of people in the world living in economic slavery.

India, Pakistan, Brazil, Mauritania, and Thailand are the worst.

But there have been cases of slavery uncovered in NYC, London, and Paris too.

Well, I was referring specifically to the United States. I am not educated enough on the subject to speak for other parts of the world. I do not doubt your claim in reference to India, Pakistan, parts of Africa etc. Also I am sure that there are isolated cases here in America, but as I said before, that would be the exception not the rule.

The western, modern world is not immune. There are plenty of people held in modern economic slavery in this country, unfortunately.
