Serioulsy? Fences work great as long as there is no ground to dig under? what about ladders? what about boats? what about flying? For good or bad, Mexicans, Cubans, Haitians, etc will always find ways into America. Now I know that is scary for all Americans, who want to keep America full of white Americans, but smell the coffee here, its what happens.

Nevermind historically America was founded on Europeans who conquered the Natives here, and was able to develop because of mass immigration of Europe. I know it is American policy to stay out of world affiars, and keep to themselves, until it directly involves America. So I guess the question is not what should be done, but how long till the war with Mexico, and then they can become states 51-whatever? Then no one would have to worry about Mexicans climbing fences, only Colombians, Venezulians, etc.

There are groups in So California that have already declared independence from the US. I don't think it's going to stay peaceful forever.

Well, that does it then. If you can't beat em, join em. As can be seen, it will never be possible to stop them. Making laws stops nothing when they don't care. Building fences is nothing but placating. Figure out a way to get along with it because there IS NO OTHER WAY. Were wasting time on political correctness when we've always known, there is no cure. This cannot be fixed, face it, it's to late. The sheer number of those involved is overwhelming, we have no way to deal with twenty million souls.

These are a people, like it or not, your brothers and sisters, their NOT invaders. I concede that at least some of them are not desirable, so be it, we'll deal with them as time goes on. Otherwise, do the correct thing and welcome them, get along with them, treat them as the humans they are. Not a one of them is a direct threat to you. This country CAN absorb them, we already have. Not accepting them will make them bitter. I can think of nothing worse than 20 million bitter human beings.
