True story from a tenant
This true story happened a few days ago with one of my parents tenants...
Around 10PM he was going to work and a car which ran a stop sign forced him to slam on his brakes to avoid a crash. He blew his horn and then kept driving. Further down the road he thought he was being followed so he pulled into a well lit convenience store. Just as he was getting out of his vehicle a car came flying up fast and both doors flew open and 3 young men were coming toward him each with a weapon (no guns). While heading back to their car a police car flew up with lights flashing and yelled for them to freeze, drop their weapons and put hands on the car....
Anyway to make a long story short, he told the tenant to put down his gun and waited for back-up which came very fast (30-45 seconds)according to him. Apparently the officer was sitting right across the street in an alley and watched the entire thing. After checking his concealled carry permit, gun registration and telling him he was free to go the officer also added that these 3 thugs admitted to being in this country illegally.... He also asked the tenant what he would've done had they not stopped. He said, "I would've done anything to save my life". To which all the officers replied that he would've been well within his rights.
Some people lie but this tenant I think not. I believed his story.
Nobody died, nobody even injured, not a huge story to be reported. I just felt like sharing it since I think more of these types of stories should be reported.
