Default US Dumping Ground

"Buchanan charges the Mexican regime with mounting a conscious effort to use the U.S. as a dumping ground for its poor and unemployed to relieve social pressure and bring about what would amount to a re-annexation of the American Southwest, Drudge reports." -NewsMax

>>>I don't know about Buchanan's re-annexation stuff, but I do believe Vicente Fox has a policy of dumping his economic and social problems off on the US border. You know, the last time we invaded Mexico City, the people and the politicians (except for Santa Ana) WANTED us to stay.

For the longest time, the ruling party did not care for their citizens leaving. Since they could easily come to America, legal or not, they would not stay and try to institute changes in their own country. It bit them on the ass this year, when they tried to elect a socialist and the very people they needed for him to be elected had left.

Look, I have real problem with anyone talking about any of this because the media and people like Pat B are making this into a circus. Nobody talks about the REAL immigration problem and it has to do with terrible paperwork. The vast majority of immigration problems that even the big #s you see in the media are from initial legal immigrants who don't follow up on paperwork properly and then the US Gov fails to do so from the other end.

Meow, you are way off base. Come to my part of the country and just watch. People who drag themselves across the Arizona desert do not have a paperwork problem. They are sneaking in, stealing services that both OUR federal taxes and MY local taxes fund. They bog down the already sub-standard school system. They tie up the health care facilities. They fill our jails. They occupy our law enforcement assets that are meant to keep order and protect our homes and businesses.

Buchanan has alot of valid points and solutions, not all, but alot.

The answer to Mexico is wealth re-distribution.

Agreed. Anybody who makes over 15K a year has to give it up.

If wealth can be artificially distributed upward, why can't it be artificially re-distributed back downward?
