Its time to close this loophole and end this ridiculous argument. Congress needs to pass a law making english the official language.

No. That would be sad, especially since America is not going to be a superpower much longer. We need to learn to play nicely with the rest of the world now. We tend to carry the theory that people should speak English with us even when we are in another country. This is not making us any friends. Congress passing such a law would just encourage these ignorant sensibilities. Chinese is spoken by as many people as English is, and Arabic and Spanish are becoming important, as are Hindi and Farsi. As stated by someone above, Spanish will be spken as much as English here soon. Whites aren't going to be the majority for long. Too bad for us, or not, as the case may be. Get used to hearing otra idiomas, aight?
And I'm insulted that you think I would stoop to using an Online translator for my Spanish. I'm actually making a serious effort to learn as many languages as possible. Huzzah for being a well-rounded American citizen.
