Upton cmon--did you read this thread--I have covered this 5 times already. To summarize--a minority of republicans favor amnesty--while a majority of democrats favor amnesty.

That may be true, but in the case of this president:

A vote for Republican Bush=a vote for amnesty.

And I never denied that--Bush isnt a conservative--and he supports amnesty--but--so did AlGore--and so did John Kerry--who fought in vietnam.

But overall--the majority of republicans are against amnesty--just as the majority of democrats support amnesty. And therefore looking at the big picture--we can conlcude--a majority of the time--a vote for democrats is in fact a vote for amnesty.

Why can't you folks get it into you heads. BUSH CAN'T RUN AGAIN. He's not the issue, but Pelosie, Reid, Kennedy, Boxer, Feinstein, Wyden, Cantwell, Murray, Martinez, Nelsen, and a whole slew more, will still be in Congress, and they are the issue, when it comes to illegal immigration, and amnesty.

No matter how much you right wingers wish it would go away. Bush is president until Jan. 2009, until then he remains an issue.

My point, Badmutha, is that this is an issue that cuts across party lines. It's not nearly so black and white as you present it.

I assume you voted for Bush twice. If that be the case, then you indirectly are guilty of voting for amnesty yourself.

And if left wing liberals live up to past excuses, they will keep him an issue for the next 10-12 years.

I'm just thankful the 5-6 good Democrats joined the good Republicans and stopped all the insane amnesty bills presented over the last two years.

Much like the right wing still uses Clinton as an excuse for every ill?

Actually, on this last bill, I think it was 11 Democrats. Nevertheless, I agree.

Oh, did Billy comedown with an STD. No really, its hard to get upset, or blame someone as insipid as Clinton.
