Why not address and locate the problem before you go guns-a-blazin into a fight. Its how you survive and move forward... you know.... so you don't just get the rug pulled out from under you. But i guess its hard for some of us to have contradicting beliefs you know with this widespread plague of "political correctness". I will fight for what i believe in but the sad thing is that its hard to find anything to believe in anymore.

Yes, I know, it's a real shame that the American educational system has fallen to such a low point. I feel very sorry for you youngsters, that have had to be content with such a system for your knowledge.
A "REVOLUTIONARY REVOLT" is not really necessary, at this time. Some good, old fashioned, ACTIVISM will probably suffice. But setting around the coffee bar DISCUSSING the woes of the world, will do no more good in 2007-8, than setting around the coffee houses discussing the same woes did in the 1950's.
Finding something to believe is easy, for anyone capable of independent thought. Commiting to a cause (or causes), then devoting some time, effort, and yes, money to it/them is the hard part. But it's the best way to insure that change will occur. Set around drinking mocha java with you friends will only insure the status quo.

I see where you are coming from. And thats true its not going to get done with people sitting on their asses. But It is going to take more than 20 or 30 peeps. All i came here for was to get some things out there, see if i was on the right track then try and find folks around me with the same goals then comes the activism sir. I am not asking for someone to do it for me i am asking people to join me in researching and acting. Just because someone is older doesn't mean they are exempt from acting... if you are older than me why not impart wisdom gathered from your longer life experience and help other younger people find the truth and get out there and do something. We all play our part.

Are you now saying you have found something to believe in? Must not have been so hard, after all. Please enlighten us, as to what it may be.

If that doesnt convince you--who stopped the countless amnesty bills and Dream Acts the democrats continue to push?--the REPUBLICAN MINORITY IN CONGRESS! If democrats had a larger majority--we would have AMNESTY ALREADY! Remember that when you vote!
Again before you place your blame liberally on Americans themselves--nobody forces illegals to come here--they freely and knowingly decide to break our laws--and their punishment is a free bus ride home to mexico so they can do it all over again. Quit blaming americans for the illegal choices of others.
So your calling Mexicans pretty shitty
Were discussing it now--and liberals are losing--and they are the ones with hurt feelings--this thread shows many examples of childish liberal antics and tomfooleries-thats about all you get with liberalism.
Look this country gives out more money and aid than any other country in the world--we take care of millions and save thousands--but we cant carry any more burden at the moment--all we can offer is some free advice to the mexican people--FIX YOUR OWN FUCKING COUNTRY!

Dont worry pussy boy, your welfare check is safe, and no one is going to force your faggot chickenhawk ass to serve you country.
You are still free to sit on your fat ass pretending to be a bad ass on line, when you actually shit your pants at the thought of actually having to DO something. All you need to do is make it to the maiolbox to get your governmant check, while at the same time you project your failures, and accuse others of sucking off the same governmant tit thatt you are.
Deport the right wing losers, keep the Mexicans. The Mexicans are better Americans
You are free to keep compliling your list of whiney paranoid complaints about what is wrong with America, even though you enjoy all the benifits that progressive legislation gives you.
Like most right wing losers, you are a coward, and being a coweard is what made you right wing in the first place. Better take a break, and come back when you balls drop...faggot

Where in that quote did i say "i found something to believe in". People at my age don't discuss this stuff, much less are aware of it. I recently heard of a lot of different issues. People my age don't care about whats going to happen because they aren't aware that anything is going on. I am looking at age groups older than myself to help me understand what exactly is happening to our country. I have spent almost a week in front of this goddamn computer trying to figure out what the hell is going on. The problem is that everything is so convoluted and biased its hard to get a straight answer on anything. I am not trying to come across as someone who has all the answers... I am looking for answers but the media, our government and our legal system make getting STRAIGHT answers almost impossible. All i ask for is instead of inflating your ego by trying to catch me putting my foot in my mouth, try seeing where i,and others with less experience, are coming from and help us find the real issues; because we do not know. I talk to almost everyone my age i come in contact with about these issues and others, no one cares or listens (or has opinions). They just wait for there chance to change the subject to something about them or some frivolous no matter bull shit. I admitted to not being the brightest political crayon in the box, so I KNOW I DON'T HAVE AN ANSWER... is asking to learn a little from fellow forum members so much to ask for.

This is not a complicated issue, and it is an issue between the Republicans.
The republican bigots against the republicans who dont want to give up their landscaper and nanny.
They had a chance to fix the problem, and did what republicans always do ..NOTHING.
They are too stupid to realize by shouting dowm imigration reform, the ASSURED that not only would illegals stay in the Country, but thatt more would continue to follow.
They rallied behind their bumper sticker slogan "AMNISTY" (which was not proposed) and shot themselves in the foot
Why do people think the right is stupid ?
Because they prove it, again and again

Wrong--republicans are trying to stop liberal government from giving our country away to anyone that crosses our border with their hand out.

BJ Clinton had a chance to fix immigration--but like everything else--BJ was to busy helping himslef to interns rather than acting like a president. How is it--the democats god and altar boy Bill Clinton didnt do a damn thing about it?

The only thing ASSURED is the republican effort--and the efforts of 90% of Americans-- to stop amnesty worked

Call it what you want--a pathway to citizenship (amnesty)--but its amnesty in the end. Once again--liberals are looking to reward bad behavior--as well as throwing a slap in the face of every immigrant that came into this country LEGALLY. Get out--take your mexican flag with you--and get in line like everybody else.

You don't think that our overall general problem isn't with the system in general. An enlightening article on our two party government, discussing the similarities between the dems and the reps fiscal, foriegn, and local policies:
