SANCTUARY STATE
New York's Eliot Spitzer has officially declared his state a sanctuary for more than half a million illegal aliens.
The state of New York will no longer require you to show proof of citizenship to get a driver's license. The Department of Motor Vehicles will now accept foreign passports and birth certificates as valid forms of ID. No need for a Social Security card to prove you are a citizen.
Spitzer says that we are changing this policy to get more people out of the shadows! Meanwhile, he points out that current "unlicensed drivers" are five times more likely to get into accidents.
Time for the congress to move to cut off all highway and law enforcement funds to New York, or at least a good portion of them, until New York decides that the rule of law is important and decides to help, rather than hinder our immigration enforcement actions.
Yeah, like that's going to happen.

I think if we are going to have anarchy then it should be full blown with each person deciding for himself just which laws he agrees with and is going to abide by. There is no percentage in half of us following a set of laws and the other half saying "to hell with the law we're going to do what we want to regardless of the law". For a city or state to declare themselves a sanctuary city or sanctuary state is to say "f--- the law".

Just about every poll I have ever read on the question of illegals it's about 70% against illegals and 30% for, so we'll see, after all is said and done just how this plays out. More and more people are getting fed up with all this pandering to the illegals at the expense of legal American citizens.

We are not talking about imigration here, this is about illegal imigration. There is a big difference between entering this country legaly and just walking across the border.
