General John "Blackjack" Pershing made his reputation by chasing Pancho Villa back into Mexico. What do you think he means when he says "Mexico does not end at its borders"? Suppose enough Mexicans moved into Arizona or New Mexico and were able to take over the government and demanded to secede from the Union and become part of Mexico. Since its illegal to secede from the Union do you think Federal troops would be deployed? That is certainly the plan for La Raza

it is certainly reasonable to think that an alliance between Mexico and Al Queda could occur. How long do you think it would take for a revolution to occur in Mexico if we totally secured our borders and sent all the illegals back?

I just don't see that happening, nathan. First of all, there is a pretty large population flow of Americans heading to the South West. And my guess is that most of the people that flee Mexico are fleeing it because they are looking for a better life in the US. Now, why would they want to rejoin Mexico....a place that they fled in the first place? Also, most that flee Mexico and enter this country are here illegally and, consequently, can't vote.
I imagine....although I can't even envision any secession occuring.
Not very reasonable in my opinion, nathan....and not much of a concern either.
I have no idea what Mexico would do.

I can't see how the problem with illegal aliens is a Republican issue, since the illegals have been coming into this country since the late 40's. I haven't seen a President do anything about this regardless of party. The problem may be a corprate problem with people wanting cheap labor. I don't see it but open to discuss it with anyone who can think rationaly. The problem of our borders and the illegals being here in the millions, is an American problem.
