I think that by writing your Congress person is putting the cart ahead of the horse to some degree. The way to build a movement for change on the illegal immigration problem is to start at the grass-root level. One way would be to find organization or start orgainization w/i your town, city or state and hold local meetings; such as house get togethers, picnics, or community meetings to form an organization(s) to develop a sound solidarity game plan to change the illegal immigration problem.

Once the mayors and govenors get behind the mass anti-illegal allien GRASS-ROOT movement, then and only then can you get the attention of the House and Senate bought and paid for Congressional incumbent HACK!!!!!!!

We-The-People starts with a unified Grass Root movement!!! and we have to ensure all Grass Root movements are not derailed by WEDGE ISSUES!!!!!

QUESTION IS, CAN AMERICA GET OFF THE "WEDGE ISSUE(S)" CRACK-PIPE!!!

i just finished reading the paper this morning,and well to put it blantly i'm pissed!there in black and white was a confrence for the 3 teens gunned down in newark by the coward illegal immigrant,but what got me going is what was in the backround,a rallie for fair rights for illegal immigrants.what in gods name are these people thinking,3 young people were shot execution style by an illigal,and they want fair rights for these illegals,this illegal took every right these 3 young kids had,he took away thier lives,there shouldn't even be a trial for this scumbag,hang him for all to see!i just can't believe that with all the crimes committed,the money us legal americans spend in taxes for illegals going to emegency rooms,the impact on our well-being,that there are even people willing to stand up for these illegal criminals,yes criminals,that is what they are,not undocumented,not non u.s citizens,but illigal(criminal)aliens.well i'm for one am getting sick and tired of these illegals crying unfair treatment,maybe if they enter the country the right way,like so many have,they would have rights,but no they broke the law,and by doing so,you my friend have no rights at all.bottom line (ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS SHOULD BE DEPORTED-NOT REWARDED!)new telephone message should say press 1 for ENGLISH!press 2 to DEPORT!!!!!

Rasta, yes the citizens need to get involved in and expect their leaders to give them the results they desire. If citizens start letter writing campaings and start demonstrating their support, leaders that don't do the peoples bidding, will be voted out.
