Default New videos of Bush hearing that levees could break in Katrina

So who do these videos show in the worst light? They seem to be contradicting virtually everyone, but they've all got some serious blame to accept:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11643327/

1) Bush, because he knew beforehand this could be a problem. He should have done something about it and he didn't - a miserable failure of leadership.

2) Brown, because he is lying right now about what he did in office to cover his ass. He was incompetent, and Bush put him there, and New Orleans suffered for it.

3) Governor Blanco, who said there was no levee problem when there was.

There is also a second video that shows Bush 4 days post katrina saying he had no clue this could happen after being told in front of vidio 1 day before that it would most likey happen. Others are to blame also.

I think the bush administration is just hoping they will go by the wayside. They were big news for a few days then all the journalist moved onto the next big news. They were dated and clear for all to see but the whitehouse was silent and the news moved on.

"1) Bush, because he knew beforehand this could be a problem. He should have done something about it and he didn't - a miserable failure of leadership."

>>>I don't know what he could have done about Katrina, but he's a miserable failure of a leader anyway.

"he could of raised funds for the levees"

>>>Maybe, but you know how Republicans are. They see levees as 'social programs'.

New orleans still looks like it was hit by a nuclear bomb. Thousands are testifying that their home owners insurance that they have paid for for 30 years are not giving them a dime. One man has testified that his house blew to pieces and the roof was in a tree...Three days later it did flood but the original damage was that it was blowing apart. Because his insurance does not cover flood he says they are refusing to pay anything even though the government has said his destruction was due to the wind. I wonder if some of the lack of progress is also related to this.

I think we should keep this thread. It is old news but its a major American city that looks like it was hit by a bomb. We had a WARNING .Our president was informed 1 day before and then hid for 4 days and then when pressed in Crawford while golfing he said "he had no clue this would Happen" I think people need to keep this in mind and keep it in our history books. I think this admonistration would just like any doscussion of Hurricane katrina to go away.
