Default Thousands flee as typhoon takes aim on China

Imagine that, fleeing before a storm. Kudos to them.

"About 120,000 people fled fish farms and low-lying areas in Hainan, Xinhua said. Officials urged people in the southern provinces of Fujian and Guangxi to also prepare for the typhoon, expected to dump four to six inches of rain."

The 56 chose to "ride out the storm".

Imagine a city (Houston) having over 1,000 buses to evacuate poor people before a storm hit?
Such forethought may be outlawed by the US Congress, it makes Democrats in Louisiana look like killers.
Note: The media did try to prosecute one bus company and driver that was involved in an accident that killed several people. The bus line was found by the media to be evil and unAmerican.

I remember that bus. There was no accident. The rear wheels on the bus caught fire, due to improper maintenance, resulting in the deaths of many disabled passengers.

But I don't remember the results of the trial.
