why are 1 out of 25 homeless? Does this mean that 1 out of 25 are actually living in the street or in FEMA trailers because they are too lazy to help in the rebuilding? New Orleans is a cesspool of socialism. If you want to see America if either Hilliary or Obama are elected just look at New Orleans.

>>>Why wait for Hillary or Obama? We can see what New Orleans looks like under a Bush administration. If only Katrina had shifted a few degrees to the west and taken out Houston instead, eh? I'd bet we'd be paying a tax surcharge to see to its rebuilding.

Let's face it, shall we? Houstonians wouldn't have put up with Bush's shit. On the other hand, New Orleans is full of po', powerless, black folks WHO VOTE DEMOCRAT.

Voting democrat didn't do much for that area either.

Lesson here? Don't rely on the government to run your life.

I'd much rather take care of myself. I can't believe I have to put money into social security when I could invest my own damn money it is a joke.

I'd rather hire a bum off the street to manage my money vs. the gov't.

I don't know, Rob...I'd like to think one of roles of Government is to help those who can't help themselves. Don't you think???

This would be a great ideal if it really worked that way.

There are plenty of folks that could help themselves but what is the incentive when the gov will do it for them?

I'm all for helping out folks. I'm pissed off because my lame-o Wisconsin gov't. didn't accomplish one of their goals which was to have insurance companies cover the needs of autistic children. This should be covered because early prevention is key, but the dumb ass legislators can't even get that done w/o slapping each other up.

The gov't is useless.

SN, I sort of like to know that I did something on my own, but of course many people don't have the desire to do that.
