My church sent a group down to help with projects in Slidell, LA. I guess all went well for them, but another church in town didn't fair so well. While their group was slaving their asses off in the heat and humidity the locals were sitting around watching them on their fat asses and making comments about moving faster and do this and that...........
The priest had enough and brought the group home early.

I worked in Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi during the reconstruction from Katrina and Rita.
I know first hand how fucked up everything was and which areas worked hardest and best to get things back on track.
While New Orleans whined and cried about not getting enough help or money, everybody else rolled up their sleeves and got it done.
All you had to do to be successful was to be at least 75 miles away from New Orleans.
