Doesn't mean I don't believe man has a responsibility to try to lessen his impact on the planet. Conservation is the right thing to do. Cutting emissions is the right thing to do.
But Mother Nature is, always has been, and always will be in command.
Call this a "preemptive" thread. You can bet, if a hurricane had struck the US
this hurricane season, there would have been all kind of "told you so" threads from the alarmist.
Admittedly, this storm season (and last years calm season) are just a snapshot in time and doesn't mean climate change isn't a factor. By the same token, the 100 year data used for much of the alarmist rhetoric is also nothing but a snapshot when viewed over the earths lifetime.
