Why does everyone everywhere evacuate a natural disaster except for New Orleans? I hope everyone's friends and family stay safe.

it was a notice only to leave, not a command to leave. they come around with bull horns for that.

i feel i am safe , based on a number of factors.

i have a granddaughter on the other side of ridge. she is our eyes and ears right now. she has to listen to chp as part of her job. she says fire has not yet reached the crest.

we are all packed up and can be out in five min. we would not disregard a warning to get out now.

babetoo; Stay Safe. I just received emails from 2 high school friends, one is in Santee, the other is in Mission Viejo. They don't need to evacuate yet, either.

12:30 pm here and we are still hanging in. least we got a little sleep in our own beds last night

my son is stilling watching the one in valley center, that is the only one causing us problems where i am.

god has nothing to do with it. it all in the land.men building where it floods, etc

we were very watchful for a while and now feel we are as safe as we can be.

there is a reason these events are called acts of nature.
