let us all remember
I think a lot of people were failures to N.O. Bush was not the only one responsible but hiding out in Crawford like a hillbilly for 4 days and not even addressing the people about this major wipe out of a port city should be clear in everyonesw mind.

I think it's fair to say that if Guillani can control NYC during the 9/11 crisis...Nagen should have been able to control New Orleans during Katrina. Bush wasn't blamed for NYC 9/11 and shouldn't be blamed for NO's Katrina, it all had to do with leadership. If another nature or human tragedy should befall NO, they are on their own, they re-elected Nagen.

Ladyofmts, the conspiracy freaks will argue but in reality you cannot compare the two. An entire city devastated doesn't compare fairly with lower Manhatten. Credit to Guillani and the heroics of all those that helped and gave their all but the entire nation stopped that day too.

Texas would be a better place if those people from New Orleans had just drowned like they were supposed to.

I guess my point is, is that Guillani cleaned up a mess, Nagen caused a bigger one. NYC was told to evacuate, the city literally shut down, and NO didn't seem to even know they were in a crisis.

>>>I don't think THAT's particularly fair. Imagine if 9/11 had impacted all of Manhattan instead of just a few blocks. I think Bush is a putz anyway.

Has there been one single solitary positive thing that has happened to Texas since that human pond scum was bussed here?
Should this ever happen again, those people (term used loosely here) will find the Texas Army National Guard manning a roadblock at the stateline. Hopefully with shoot to kill orders.

If local laws,rules, and regulations were followed, it wouldn't be the state or a federal issue. I still think it is fair to compare NYC and N.O.

Scooby? are you for real? Only pond scum could hold as much decaying mater as your brain. You are not even smart enough to keep it to your own shallow pond. Excuse me pond. To your own shallow cesspool!
