Once again Edith you show your ignorance and ordinarily I would not respond but I have a policy to respond to all idiotic comments that denigrate righteous gentiles who died in the holocaust.

There are in fact 70 righteous gentile Muslims honoured by Israel and at Yad Vashem.

Albania which was predominantly Muslim was in fact the ONLT country in Europe in where more Jews existed after the holocaust then before.

There were only about 200 Jews in Albania (which had a population of about 800,000) before the war, but others fled there during the war.

As I stated there are 70 Muslims officially recognized as Righteous Among the Nations.

For example a Bosnian Muslim Dervis Korkut, hid a Jewish woman resistance fighter named Mira Papo. He also saved the Sarajevo Haggadah, one of the most valuable Hebrew manuscripts in the world.

tSelahattin Ulkumen who was a Turk, saved 50 Jews rfrom dying at Auscwhitz and the Nazis killed his wife in retaliation and she had recently had a son. g

Refik Vesili, an Albanian Muslim was only 16 when he hid 8 Jews in his family's mountain home.

You are an ass Edith. You know nothing of the Muslims who died saving Jews in the holocaust nor do you know who the Arabs were who donated kibbutzim to Jews who fled to Palestine nor do you know the Muslims of the Middle East who fought against the Nazis.

Yad Vashem remembers the righteous gentiles including 70 Muslims. The State of Israel remembers the Arabs who generously donated land for kibbutzim.

History has shown the complicity of the Mufti of Jerusalem and the role he played as a guest of Hitler during World War Two in stirring up pan-Arab nationalism to go against the French and British and support the Nazis. It documents in thorough detail the role the Mufti and certain Arab leaders played in creating an alliance with Hitler and in particular Heinrich Himmler in enabling genocide against Jews.

However that said, history also documents how thousands of Muslims from Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, India, Pakistan, Palestine, Morrocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt who fought the Nazis..

They laid down their lives in the Second World War in battles as significant as those of Stalingrad, which broken Hitler’s back, and North Africa, which sent Hitler’s Desert Fox, General Rommel, scurrying back to his den in Berlin.

The Nazis received contingents of Palestinian terrorists, trained them, and sent them back to Palestine to raise hell with the Jews.
