It probably is somewhat accurate. From what I read in the post the guy sounded somewhat self-reflecting, though I wonder if he really NEVER heard anything about the camps.
The bigger question is so what. Effective evil people are not stereotypes. Stereotypes are usually identified and weeded out quite early. Take canuck for instance, his stupidity is so obvious that he would never get to a position of power.
No, the real dangerous evil are those who are normal acting for the most part. They creep up on you and have power before you know it. The article used the word that I prefer when describing evil: banal. That is the true essence of evil and why it is so successful. Its boring, everyday evil, and over time it builds up into the holocaust. That is why such things repeat over and over again.
