I went to the holocaust museum in albequerkie(forgive the sp)new mexico.It was started by a local jewish ww2 vet.
Included were sections on the armenians ,the native americans,the african slaves,cambodia,and more

I've haven't been to the DC Holocaust museum since 1990.
I haven't been to Germany since 1989.
So, I stand corrected.
I think the majority of people only associate the word Holocaust with Jewish people, when it does represent other tragedies as well.

I happen to have an interest in the jewish holocaust because of my mother.She grew up in nazi germany,the daughter of a german lutheran minister.
