The British Spanish and French all hold more territories now then Germany ever did through the 19th and 20th century. Germany disnt UNify till 1871

There are several names and descriptions. Princpalites is used as a ll inclusive though in reality it was one of several types of german "countries" that were unified. NO Germans refer to it as an empire. Typical American bigots do that. The list is somewhat long. Suffisve to say that the Territory included in this uinification is the Real Germany. All of current Germany and parts of poland Blatic nations, and Slovic nations. Also teh Rheinland.
Prussia, Bavaria, Saxony, Wurttemburg, Mecklenburg, Baden, Lippe and lots of other nations Americans never were taught about.
