Hey KNOB, you know how sometimes people get things stuck in their head and won't stop thinking about it until they figure it out? Well, thinking about some of the posts on this thread I was trying to think of the word used when, in I think the 1820's or 30's the Prussians instituted (or convinced the other German states to abide by) some free trade/no tariffs legislation that I think started with a 'Z'. I remember learning it at one time and I know that I have seen it in a book but I can't remember which one, I think it was Paul Johnson's book on the time period. Do you know what the word was?

From what I remember, it was instrumental in eventually bringing the German states around to wanting to become one country.
