Patriot, this is really a stupid question. It wasn't like Hitler was going to be statisfied with just Poland. He would have attacked the Soviet Union, it had always been his intention (if it had not he would never have allowed the USSR to spread to his borders). He needed to have war, he longed for it, and his apocalyptic worldview demanded it (he believed that Germans either had to be forced into greatness or should perish).

This being the case. War was inevitable for all parties, and yes it was a good war because the WHOLE world was better off without Hitler than with Hitler. Should the US and UK have waiting until Hitler and the USSR finished each other off? Perhaps, but that is a callous way at looking at the world.

The assumption behind the question is that the US and UK had a choice in the matter. That if we didn't declare war on Germany after they invaded Poland, war would have somehow be avoided.

That is crap, anyone who thinks that is a fool, and those who are promoting this POV is at best ignorant, and worse evil.

The Jews were in war with Germany since 1933.
They started WW1 and WW2.

Huh? WTF are you talking about? I never said it wasn't necessary or avoidable, I'm just saying it was a horrible, terrible war, which it was
