I'm non-Jewish and I have nothing against them, they have done nothing to harm my family nor I.

I have often pondered that question over 50 years..... It seems they haven't made a very favorable impression ..... wherever they have resided in this world. Hitler wanted to kill every one of them. After WWII the Brits led the charge to get them a homeland of their own (Israel) more with the hope (my best guess) that British Jews would go there and they (the Brits) would be rid of them. None of that sat well with the Palestinians or their neighbors..... It occured to me a long time ago, that as long as we had Israel for a friend ....we had no need to ....make enemies . our "friends" the jews would take care of that .... for us.

Exactly. A good example are the "statistics" that Canuck27 uses to support his/her "oh aren't the Palestinians the victims!" attitude. What Canuck conveniently doesn't write is that the Palestians outnumber Israelis by a large margin, so consequently, there will be more Palestinian deaths and injuries.

Canuck also fails to mention that Israel is surrounded by Arab nations which have ALL, at one time or another, stated as their goal the destruction of Israel. They are literally surrounded by enemies.

So please spare us the "poor lil' Palestinians" nonsense.

The Palestinians did get a raw deal. In falling all over themselves to create Israel after the bombing of the King David Hotel, they forgot one thing.
To include in the discussion people already living there.
