It is refreshing to see that this historical reference is becoming an issue of close scrutiny. On the one hand we have individuals raising its credibility to a level of consciousness that was before taken for granted. On the other hand we have a cottage industry wielding this historical reference as a bludgeon against all who question its credibility with even the most remote level of curiosity. To step outside of the manner in which it has been presented to the masses is to invite nothing but the worst forms of ostracism and shame.
I find it interesting that throughout the course of this discussion, no one (to my knowledge) has made this point: Throughout modern history it is an accepted fact that any close examination of our human past is socially acceptable and even supported and embraced with the utmost fervor.
Yet when the subject of the Shoah comes to the table, any close examination to its authenticity is immediately decried as blasphemous and reprehensible.Even the pundits of the pro-Shoah movement cannot agree on their facts and figures. This is amusing to me.
Would it not be better to settle this once and for all by gathering a team of the world's best forensic scientists and technical equipment and anything else it might need to reveal what really was, and not what is said? It seems that a subject of such contention and debate would be better served to be settled in this fashion.
That it is a laisse faire subject creates for it more controversy than the purported truth which we have all been indoctrinated with. That people are now being imprisoned and having all of their worldly belongings confiscated simply because they disagree with the status quo will only serve to damage the credibility of the ones who defend the validity of the Shoah.
Even the simplest mind knows that being punitive towards those who question a so-called truth is only to create even more curiosity towards the validity of that truth. If something bears up against the closest scrutiny and it can withstand that scrutiny, then why does mere man have to resort to such tactics to seemingly protect that truth?
If it is not true, then I assure you that man's curiosity will not be squashed by the jack-booted tactics of the defenders of what we are told. Indeed, the truth of what really happened will one day be revealed and there will be no recourse or excuse for the intolerable crimes that have been committed in the name of what was purported as historical fact, yet is now known to be a lie used to advance a cause of supremacist and genocidal behavior.
If it is so, then please stand back and let the people dig for the truth and the facts.
Resistance is futile and breeds suspicion and doubt. Punishing curiosity and the desire to closely examine history is the swiftest form of bringing on anger and retribution. I know of no other group of people who are so protective of what they shove down people's throats and demand self-hate and guilt of masses of people who are not even allowed to question this reference to history.
Did it happen? If the answer be yes, then step aside and let the facts be examined with the best science that the world has to offer. To deny this option is to invite eventual discredit to many innocent people as well as rage from many victims who have paid dearly for a lie; for it is only a lie that is kept from the innocent curiosity of the masses. Locking people up will expedite the facts and usher in the retribution.
