We have had our health care system for years, a little late to worry about it now.
And if you don't hate Canadians, why are you trying to tear me a new one everytime you post here? I asked a simple question, showed some compassion, everyone else has been nice and explained to me, you haven't. Now sure you could say this is none of my business, but i could also turn the tables on you and say the same thing.

What do you mean by "TEAR ME A NEW ONE"? I am only trying to make my point. With Democrats in control of our Congress, I know that there will be a renewed effort to impliment a system like yours here. Democrats tried that in the "90s. I'm glad that thye failed. I am sorry if I came off as not caring. I care very much. I just disagree.

I am not sure, but it could be because there is a patent on the medications and generic cannot be made until the patent expires. Or maybe because a generic sometimes doesn't work as well as the original.
