I'm saying when the richest country in the history of the world, will not
make sure each and every citizen has basic healthcare, that system is broken!
America can fix the system so everybody has coverage,it just won't,
because those without coverage have no political power!
When the big corporations, decide its cheaper to pay into national health insurance than pay for their employees things will change!

Actually everyone does have basic healthcare. No one would ever be turned away from an emergency room for example because of lack of money. There are free clinics and public hospitals everywhere. What you want is not basic healthcare. And when did it become a governmental issue to provide healthcare???? What next, auto insurance??? Grocery insurance?? Where does it end except in total and complete socialism, the most disgusting system on the face of the earth.

Where not even the richest country currently.
Also, we spend a lot of money trying to make the rest of the world catch up with us. Our standard of living is a lot higher than most countries, so are you willing to suffer hundreds of thousands of kids to starve to death because you want cheap, crappy medical care?

Yep!! A family of four can't pay their auto insurance (mom/dad have to get to work), what to do?? Beg Uncle Sam to pass legislation that states that the federal government will pay for your insurance....

Have you ever noticed that people in this country afford whatever they want. From new cars, computers, big scsreen tv's and many other things. If healthcare is important to them, they will change their life styles so that they have the money to pay for healthcare.

Oh....my....God!! You mean, instead of that shiny new SUV with the 22" rims, perhaps I should buy a more reasonably priced vehicle, and purchase my family some good health insurance?
