Politicians use waiting lines in Govt. healthcare to control costs.
In other words, Politicians will let you die to save a buck.
Now, what are you babbling about?

But insurance companies simply cancel and deny policies to those who are sick or badly injured, and deny approval and payment for necessary but expensive care. But they do it to produce profits that result in hundred million dollar bonuses to the executives who are best at making sure that the government pays the medical bills of the most expensive patients.

Waiting lists suggest that some possibility for treatment exists, but insurance companies don't intend to provide any coverage when unprofitable and will use their lawyers to prevent lawsuits from forcing the insurers to cover treatment before the patient dies.

Free market competition will ensure that all insurers exclude the chronically ill and seriously injured from getting treatment, thus increasing profits to all insurers as the weak are sped to their deaths and insurance premiums are increased to pay for the claim deniers and the lawyers.

Let face it insurance companies are gambling that a minority of people will use the coverage while the majority continues to pay the premiums.

Do you know who regulates Insurance Companies? Answer: State politicians.
You are going to have to accept the fact that Politicians will do what they can to let you die before you are treated.
Politicians want that Insurance Company tax money or higher operating revenues.
This is why I could never be a politician.

Interesting. Can you point to the State laws and regulations that require insurance companies to refuse to insure people with pre-existing and costly medical problems, and that require insurance companies to cancel the policies for people who make a lot of claims, and the requirement to deny requests and claims for coverage until after the patient dies?

Such a pointer would be helpful in the upcoming elections: running attack ads featuring these laws and regulations with the names of the people who wrote, voted for, and approved them would certainly be helpful to Democrats in the fall.

well, he knew that if he went to the hostpital, he would of been turned down anyway, due to his health insurance status.

I've been watching this healthcare situation pretty closely. So far only a few ideas exist and they mostly will force us to have insurance. I'm not agains't insurance but forcing us to have it disturbs me. Rather, why not provide everyone with healthcare by using a tax. I know "not another tax". It would seem to me that a tax placed on most everything we buy could pay for health coverage for everyone. This way noone would be left out or fail in some way to pay as they go. A small calculated tax placed on everthing "helping to lesson the burden" . The government collects the tax and it's made impossible to rob it by anyone for any reason. It's not that hard to do and noone can cheat this system. And if you want it, you pay the tax. Kinda like gasoline taxes that help keep the roads currently in dis-repair. I'm sure you get the idea.

Who do you think approves the Insurance Company's contracts?
The Politicians have people blaming Insurance Companies for the Politician's regulatory authority. Funny

In NH, the first state in the nation to have an insurance commission, the insurance company defines the plans, sets the rates, and approves the health insurance.

So, are you saying I should blame the politicians for not dictating the plans and rates to the insurance companies?

Why shouldn't I blame the government for not implement government healthcare?

You should ask yourself "Why would the politicians in NH attack the Insurance Companies and then not use their authority to do something about this political fodder?"

There is Govt healthcare and we see how our war Vets are treated worse than zoo animals. I do not know why someone wants this for all 300 million Americans?
