Elderly have health insurance

Also, the article said NOTHING about him not being able to afford insurance...it merely said he didn't have it. I know plenty of people who could afford Health insurance, but choose otherwise.
Additionally, if it was because he couldn't afford health care, why is nobody asking the family why they didn't help him? Why is it easier to expect America, and thus millions of strangers, to finance this man instead of holding his family accountable?

Can anyone give a logical explanation as to why the Bush Administration went to such great lengths in terms of military lives lost (4000+) and innocent citizens killed nearly 1,000,000), to lie us into a war over approximately 3,000 fatalities on 9/11, but shows absolutely no concern that we are losing between 80,000 and 100,000 people EVERY YEAR from MEDICAL MISTAKES?
