As I recall, for the last 47 years Democrats have had Presidents ONLY from the South. Georgia and Arkansas.

America is fat,... well, because of our Government operated Schools, and our weakening Economy. A parent used to stay home and cook decent chow for the kid, now both parents get home and throw a bucket of chicken or a bag of Burger King at the kids and watch TV all night.

Americans are not responsible anymore. We need to take back that individual responsability that used to make our Nation strong.

Soda was once a week for a treat.

Don't be an idiot, Bush is from Texas,and one of the very worst presidents ever was a New York Democrat ,Franklin D. Roosevelt. So your theory that the very worst presidents come from the deep south reeks with error. In fact we have not elected any decent ,even mediocre, Presidents since our very beginning,the high water mark being around the Jeffersonian through Monrovian period. It is duly noted that Arkansas' favorite fool of a son Clinton came from the south, but his education (or brainwashing to be more precise ) came from an Ivy league
school up north. and he went to Oxford overseas. In fact ,there are more sensible schools of political thought to be found in the SE U.S. than anywhere else.but none our southern presidents ever participated. Thomas Jefferson said "The price of Liberty is Eternal Vigilance." Since we are all too fascinated with the mundane happenings of everyday living,we fail to be vigilant (watchful) the consequence is loss of liberty and reversal back to despotic human failings in government leaders. If you happen to live in a state where a state wide public smoking has been banned you already know this ,it happened in Arkansas because nobody saw the dangers of government oversight of smoking behavior. Therefore since nobody was aware,there was no significant public input to the state legislature to say this is dangerous because if Arkansas can do this they can regulate other behavior that actually infringes on rights. I just linked our argument to this whole thread, because if I want to freely associate with McDonalds restauraunts, a well linked industry to obese Americans ,it won't matter that I am not an obese user of Big Macs if the government is granted the power to say when and where I can eat them. Or regulate how many I can purchase in one visit.
Anyone for registered Big Macs?? LOL There are already too many people asking government to solve their troubles ,if any of you are on here advocating government mandates to solve obesity, then you are demonstrating a lack of respect for American liberty, and I know it won't happen, but all who do such things should have their citizenship revoked, and they should be exiled to someplace where their dangerous influences don't matter like France or the UK
