That's about as bad of a punishment I can think of Rob, separation from God. Believe me when they know what they are missing that will be punishment.
Then of coarse the wicked and totally unrepentant will be destroyed.

The way I see it, if there wasn’t so many people free riding the system that there would be more money for the people who really need and deserve it. (Like your brother)
The problem with social programs is that once they are put in place it’s impossible to take them away no matter how dysfunctional, corrupt or wasteful they become.

Biggest reason is that GREED preempts patient care in any system where profit is the motive for the enterprise. Insurance companies are a shining example of how the patient's own money (fees paid for insurance) are used against them to defeat any and all possible claims.

A perfect example.
A woman had a blood disease. She had 3 blood transfusion, and was getting ready for the final and 4th one. The medical insurance called and told her they shouldn't have authorized the first three and she couldn't have the 4th, which would mean death. People got together, got it paid for, and then publicly went after the insurance who eventually paid for it.
My sister delt with my father's medical bills. He was only sick from November-May, but enough bills to give you a headache. It's amazing how much the hospital double bills, what the insurance deems payable. It's a nightmare. |

If you want to see what happens to medical care when profit is removed from the equation, go visit the hospitals utilized, by the average people, in Cuba, N. Korea, China, Somalia, Ethiopia, or just about any third world country.
