I agree. There are several avenues that one could take to earn the right to vote. One is to serve in some capacity in the military. The idea being that if you were not willing to defend the Republic why should you be allowed to participate in its governence? A second way would be to pay taxes. If we went to a "Fair Tax" that would include almost everyone since the tax would be paid on your purchases. As long as its based on your income why should you be allowed to vote to create the need for taxes if you don't pay any?

Duct, since it was originally designed to tape air ducts together. It has since become one of the two universal tools, the other being WD40. If it moves and it shouldn't duct tape it, if it doesn't move and it should WD40 it. You got every need covered with just these two items.

The Duck Tape Club
Adhesive tape (specifically masking tape) was invented in the 1920's by Richard Drew of Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing, Co. (3M). Duct tape (the WWII military version) was first created and manufactured in 1942 (approximate date) by the Johnson and Johnson Permacel Division. Its closest predecessor was medical tape.
The original use was to keep moisture out of the ammunition cases. Because it was waterproof, people referred to the tape as "Duck Tape." Also, the tape was made using cotton duck - similar to what was used in their cloth medical tapes. Military personnel quickly discovered that the tape was very versatile and used it to fix their guns, jeeps, aircraft, etc. After the war, the tape was used in the booming housing industry to connect heating and air conditioning duct work together.
Soon, the color was changed from Army green to silver to match the ductwork and people started to refer to duck tape as "Duct Tape." Things changed during the 1970s, when the partners at Manco, Inc. placed rolls of duct tape in shrink wrap, making it easier for retailers to stack the sticky rolls. Different grades and colors of duct tape weren´t far behind. Soon, duct tape became the most versatile tool in the household.

lol Should I add you to my "friends" list?
And OK, a lesson in democracy (well relative democracy) that people don't tell you. You know why relative democracy is so successful and indeed increasingly popular? Because relative democracy gives people just enough that they will take it in the ass and wont cause any problems. If people are starving they'll fucking riot until they get food, they'll be prepared to die to make their point to their government. You people, well, you have your low paid jobs, your family, your Pop Idol, alcohol, drugs, football, social issues like abortion, separation of church and state, are video games hurting our kids, is Brittney Spears insane, general consumption of unnecessary goods which make us rich and you don't actually need, tax rebates that make you think you've won something when all you've done is get back a small portion of what you gave us, and of course the greatest of them all, patriotism, the list goes on and on. We know, we made it.
A lot of you know you're being played, but you still wont do anything about it. You know why? Cos the world is full of winners and losers, guess which you are?

Both.... as I recall it was originally "duct tape" because it was appropriate for taping and closing leakage in A/C and heating duct work ..... then a company started marketing it under the brand name "Duck Tape" .... I still call duct tape.....

I suppose if the governments only job were to mismanage your donation to its monetary coffers the fair tax argument might have some validity...but isn't our government spose to be about other shit too...it should especially protect to the best of its abilities that basic shit, you know, like life liberty and the pursuit of happiness...heard about that somewhere...
So, you figurin' the military should oversee all government stuff and things?
There's a bunch of other ways to serve, I'm figurin'

Voter Qualifications:
American citizenship.
High school or G.E.D. completion.
Voter disqualifications:
Dependency on public funds for support.
If you can't pass these minimal qualifications ..... you wouldn't contribute anything worthwhile to the process.
