i would like to hear some people oppose my current views on abortion.
it seems so damn wrong to me, but maybe im missing some information or something, as i dont know too much about the technicalities and specifics of the procedure(s). also i think that this issue pretty much boils down to religious beliefs, so there probably will be no right or wrong answer, but id like to hear the other side of the arguement

first off, we can agree that the "unborn" is ALIVE, right? its growing... you can look it up on webster's, the definition fits... that is life, isn't it?

secondly, we can agree that the "unborn" is HUMAN, right? no more or less human than any of us... we've all been through all those stages before , and if we had been aborted, we wouldn't be here on the forum right now. am i wrong?

now if what we are talking about here is both "human" and "alive", how can you justify going through a procedure of killing the human life. how can you say that abortion is any different than killing anyone else? sure, the "unborn" is alot younger than most human lives, but besides that. is it because it's not shaped like us?? because it can't talk?? because it is not conscious yet?? what are these reasons?

i know of reasons "why" somebody would have an abortion, you dont need to give me these. but i want to know "how" you can say that a human life wasn't killed

I used to be Pro Abortion until I watched the show called The Womb a few month's ago on the Discovery channel or something like that.
But in reality this is a useless debate, that has been going on for 30+ years, if my Daughter got rapped or something I would like for her to have the option.

I'm pro-abortion but I'm also pro-death penalty. What annoys me are the the pro-lifers who are also pro-death penalty. You either value ALL life or you don't. At least I'm consistent.

I am pro freedom. I don't care a whit about the science.

Which freedom? The freedom to live or the freedom to kill?



Also, with the consistancy thing; how can you equate the life of a child to the life of a criminal? I mean, the child has done nothing, yet. We can kill them later.

Also, I don't have a problem with an termination before the two week mark. After that I get kind of iffy.

What annoys me is that the young of endangered animals are more protected than humans'. I know that we are not currently in danger of extinction, but I still support life for everyone.

Once you decide to have unprotected sex you waive the freedom to abort the consequences.

waaahhh how about u mind your own business? You know what happens in the wild when an animal is sick? The rest of the animals kill it. Survival of the fittest. Anyone pro-life faced with the choice? What about if the mother is sick or diseased? Did the child ask to be born? Who is this person, some kind of redneck loser hanging out outside the abortion clinic? Pro-choice! Walk a mile in their shoes, and then u would know. Reading stuff like this makes me laugh, what's your name? Jebediah? My advice is to save yourself alot of grief, and take into account that you do not know about something you haven't experience. Murder is something that will always go on, whether it is homocide, euthanasia, abortion, capital punishment, manslaughter. Whatever it is, it happens.

yes a human life is killed, ok, unless you are actually having the abortion or have to face to decision, you can't say anything about it.
As far ask capital punishment? Read some high-profile true-crime novels. I would like to see anyone endure the abuse and have the kind of brain damage and think that they woul even know? Has your mom fucked you and beat you all your life> Giving a twisted psychological disorder? Most of the murderers on death-row are impaired. Some are sociopaths. What I am trying to say is, how many of you guys ever read up on something before you make up your mind. Compassion anyone? I would like to add on here that there is nothing to debate. People die at the hands of others, its sad, it happens. Try and understand where the person killing anyone is coming from. Don't excuse it of course. It would be nice that while we all think that we shouldn't kill, we are KILLING others emotionally with words.
