I don't like the idea. Individual countries will become provinces of a large, world nation. That will destroy identities, and the world cultures will become one. Yet war, racism, etc will still be prevalent. New world order, if it ever succeeded, would produce global "civil war". Doesn't that sound ironic?

Not necessarily the New World Order will have the only military, guns will be outlawed, there will be a on world religious system, one world banking or econimic system, and very strict penalties for breaking the rules. It will be peace through fear, oppresion, and, force

Could not possibly be enforced, we have already established this. Implausible that our troops would fire on their neighbors. Unrealistic to think UN troops or foreign troops could mass enough numbers to try. Choking off the ammo supply would be useless, since millions of gun owners reload their own ammo. Millions more like myself stockpile ammo and guns. just never going to happen.

Well assuming anybody is left after a nuclear war, if they have a gun, they aren't going to give it up. I invite you to go to any of the large gun forums online, thehighroad.org, thefiringline.org, ar15.com, ak-47.net, glocktalk, etc, etc etc. Do some polling. See how many of them would trade their rifles for peace. Honestly. Start some threads that ask "What will you do if the feds try to confiscate your guns?" Go to the search option on these sites, type in "pics" then spend some time looking at some of the weaponry these people own.
You will start to get the idea that it's just never going to happen.

If I gave up my gun for peace, she'd have to be a fine "piece".

How is the UN supposed to head a new world order when it's power has been diminished by the Bush Administration? It just doesn't seem plausible given it's current irrelevance. It seems like countless resolutions are passed but never implemented. The US is still the only world's and the UN's opinion is unimportant to the people that actually make things happen.
