There are over 300 such verses in the Bible that affirm that Jesus is GOD. This is one of them.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God"
John Chapter 1 and verse 1


"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we heheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth"
John Chapter 1 and verse 14

In the beginning was the Word = His Eternal exsistance in the beginning.
and the Word was with God = His Equality with the Father.
and the Word was God = His Deity or Divine essence.

All the affirmation in the world ian't going to change a damn thing. Jesus will always play second fiddle to the creator, because sins are just a tarnish compared to life. Believe in God I have no problem with that, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, still I am not bothered but to subjugate life with existence denies instinct and however ill a choice may become, to supress instinct would be wrong.

"Let this mind be in you , which was also in Christ Jesus: Who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon himself the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:"
Philippians Chater 2 verses 5-7

Herasey and liable claimed the plaintif, as it can be read in language,that man created God in human form long before the Christ was born.

"And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom thou has sent. And now O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was"
