Why use Japan as an example? Because it's a thriving democracy (exactly like America). This fact is in gun supporters face big time, guns don't kill people, bullets do!
Because criminals have guns is not enough reason to oppose gun control. We have a great deal of corruption with the NRA and their lobby in DC. Their special interest agenda is corrupt, their "contributions" or "bribes" mold US gun policy for the entire nation yet NRA members represent less than 1 percent of the population !!
You do the math, 1 percent of the population dictating gun policy for the other 99 percent of us? - - Bullshit x 10.
How many guns does Billy Bob need to hang in the rear window of his pickup to compensate for his small dick?
VA Tech is a great example and I'm from Virginia, know many that attended that school.

I can't even believe you're using Japan as an example for proving your gun ban rant. But I'm glad you did.
Because on the same day that the shootings took place at Virginia Tech, Nagasaki's mayor Iccho Ito, was shot twice in the back and killed by Tetsuya Shiroo, a senior member of Japan's largest crime syndicate. In a country where law abiding citizens face strict gun laws, the mob does most of the shooting. And on a campus (VT) that had a strict gun ban, the same held true. The law abiding faculty, staff and students had no guns to defend themselves, but the guy who murdered 33 of them did because THE BAD GUYS DON'T CARE ABOUT LAWS.
So the only positive proof here is that you don't know what you're talking about.
