Default THE NRA Hypocrisy

Let's see, the NRA lobbies (bribes) in Washington, the NRA represents less than 1% of American society yet they influence gun laws for the other 99% of us, interesting. Charlton Heston has been the President of the NRA for the last 2 terms, like the US President, the NRA constitution says only 2 terms but they changed their constitution to allow Heston a 3rd term, humm, interesting, so the constitution can change......

Some states can't even get legislation to pass limiting the purchase on one gun a month! The legislation failed! One gun a month guns in 30 years is 360 guns. How many guns does one need to compensate for a small penis?

Democratic countries other than the US in Asia and Europe thrive just fine without gun priviledges so that arguement won't float. I've lived abroad for 12years in Europe and Asia so I know from personal experience. American gun owners don't have a leg to really stand on, the proof is in the success of other democratic countries that limit this outdated US right.

I think it unlikely that the British will invade anytime soon, that was at the heart of the spirit of the original law anyway.

You don't like guns? Don't fucking buy one. There is little pesky document known as the Constitution that garauntees every American's right to own a firearm or in your case, not to own one.

Default What?

Did you not fucking read all of my posting?

I said the constitution needs to change, I like guns, I'm a veteran, I have a sharp shooter medal and ribbon, I can take apart and re-assemble a M-16 or AR 15 in 30 seconds.

That's not the point, the NRA is influencing gun policy for all of America through bribes, lobbying and special interest groups in Washington, very unconstitutional and illegal.

Yes, and the constitution is supposed to be updated every 20 years but it hasn't been. It's called the constitutional congress. I like guns but we need controlling legislation, most Americans are sniveling, crying babies over gun rights, sad.

Lets see...the unions represent an ever decreasing amount of workers yet they portend to pontificate for all of them.

Interesting.

You want to trot out what other countries do?

Should we follow them on other things as well?

Such as cowtowing to the Muslims?

How about banning abortion after no greater than fourteen weeks?

How about means and ability testing for those who get to go to college?

How about taxing the citizens at a greater than half of total?

Skipping past the lame ass Penis comments. A good servicemen really shouldnt sound that much like Al franken. Please remove the tutu.

I dont know what controls you spceficaly desire. Chances are I will not agree with them. But your point about lobbys, I will agree upon. I think that all lobbying and a PAC type activity should be completely halted across the board.(Even the ones that lobby for things I want.) We as citzens should petiton are reps for legislation we want. The reps should be accountable to us ,not some organazation or company with the big bucks.
