    I don't lie.
Can you do that with the .44 magnum???
I'll believe 3 seconds...I have seen 6 cans in less than 2 seconds. There are people who can put 6 shots onto a playing card at 50' in one second. I'm at about 4-4.5 seconds for six shots with the .44 Magnum (with max-pressure handloads), though I haven't missed a coffee can at 75' in a while. My uncle can hit a coffee can at 100' (with the .44, his Casull, or his Springfield Sledgehammer) about nine shots out of ten, he can magane 6 shots in 3 seconds from the .44 Magnum. (He says it's easier than a .38 or a .357--pulling it out of recoil helps him pull the trigger double-action more quickly.) I don't usually practice speed shooting.

A .380 is fine...well, no, it isn't. My uncle once thought like Oldman--he had a Walther PPK in .380 and carried it daily (he was a courier). Then he was attacked by a guy on Angel Dust waving a 3' iron pipe...who took the entire magazine before going down when the last shot hit him in the throat. He took shots through both lungs, one dead-center in the chest (the low-power .380 didn't penetrate the sternum), and two in the gut (every round hit). He wouldn't have lived an hour...but only went down when his carotid artery was severed.

He bought an N-frame .44 Magnum (what is now mine) the next day & was working on hot handloads within 2 weeks.

I like the 9 mm's better but they are just too big to carry around all the time. I know damned well a .44 magnum would be too big.
My uncle carried it for many years (and now carries the even-larger Casull)...I will as soon as the bullshit involved in a permit goes through. I'm 6' and about 240lbs...he's about 5'10" and maybe 180-185lbs. He has always carried the same way: a Maquis rig. My wife carries a 9mm, her best friend (4'5" and about 80lbs) carries a 2" barrel .38 Chiefs Special (K-frame, IIRC).

Let me ask you this??? How close are you to your .44 this second??? If you have to go get it from somewhere that is too far away.
It's in my safe--I finished work & showered, and I'm on my PC in shorts & sandals. However, there's a Remington pump 12-bore in arm's reach.

If I get up from here to go take a piss, I stick the .380 back in the back pocket.
Ain't got pockets in my pajamas.

None of this really matters to me. I can just turn down whatever material I want for a projectile and sleeve it with copper. Try 17-4sst in such a round. Kevlar just won't stand a chance.
    THAT explains it!!!

Do you think wood could withstand the pressure withing the barrel? I dunno if it can but I do know SST can.

All idiotic inconsequential Bullshit by dumbfucks wankers!
Shot placement is what's important...all the HP's in the world ain't going to do shit if you don't take their Blood Pressure away fast....just remember Mr. HP Wanker...anyone with a clue can take your head halfway off with one knife slash...maybe you should work on your diplomacy instead of trick bullets.
Besides Bonded Golden Sabers are better.

The jacket is only for the protection of the bore of the weapon. It serves no other useful purpose.
