Default Supreme Court --- Washington D.C. gun ban

We all know about this issue and the fact Washington D.C. thinks it can ignore the second amendment.

They base their case on only *1* thing, so pay attention:
*If it's for the good of their own community they have the right to impose laws that over ride constitutional law.*

So, this argument may set a case precedent! I am writing letters to each of the Justices of the Supreme Court using this as a possible precedent..........
-My city or state will now have the right to pass legislation that voids the 16th amendment (Income tax) on the basis that it is for the good of our community to keep more money in our state!

I suggest everyone write to at least 1 judge. Here is how to contact the justices.

The Justices do not have e-mail addresses, but you can write to them at:

Justice (or Chief Justice) (Justice's Full Name)
Supreme Court of the United States
One First Street N.E.
Washington, DC 20543

be sure to add Honorable,

John G. Roberts (Chief justice)
John Paul Stevens
Antonin Scalia
Anthony M. Kennedy <--------- Kennedy supports gun owners
David Hacket Souter
Clarence Thomas
ruth bater Ginsberg
Stephen G. Bryer
Samuel Anthony Alito

Tile ,Did they really use the "good for the community reason ?" I know that hand guns are illegal in Washington dc.It works out real well as they have over 600 drive-by shootings a year!.The saying goes "outlaw
guns and the only ones who will have them are criminals".I'm with you
on the precedent. And income tax is supposed to be volantary anyway.
That worked real well too for a guy named Wesley Snipes.

I've read absolutely every single website, AP press, and OPINIONS from every source that I could find. I spent hours trying to get a grasp on the *Oral arguments* that both sides had given. I also paid close attention to each Justices line of questioning to both sides. Now, it appears Justice kennedy is strongly on the side of private citizens owning guns BUT surprises always happen. NONE of the other justices questioning is conclusive to how they might rule.

YES, the argument promoting the gun ban ended with the notion that it was BEST for their community! If indeed that remains the precedent for upholding their right then ALL constitutional Amanedments should be held to the same precedent.

My letter to justice ALITO, was to enforce that my CITY/STATE can also use the 16th Amendment due to financial hardship forcing legislation, due to a recession that it WAS in our best interest to keep more money in the local economy.....

This argument does 2 things. It will require the Supreme court to offer an opinon the either states *Cities can over ride the constituitonal right if it's in the best interest* OR *they have to rule it unconstitutional to prevent ALL AMENDMENTS to be over ruled by any city or state*!

I wanted them to THINK, that if they allow this to happen that their ruling will set a PRECEDENT that ALL constitutional amendments can be cast aside by ANY city or state on the exact same grounds.

Prohibition of any thing, be it idea, or object, never works.

I know that as a teen when I was told something I always questioned it or
revolted and did the opposite. As a self employed adult I question every thing.
If they ever try to take my guns away I will by enough to fill a truck.

Some our leaders seam to be looking to start a revolution
