You aren't going to stop guns from being sold illegally. Nobody knows where they are they are not registered. Soviet military weapons like the AK47 and Chinese SKS have been produced in such quantities over the decades since they were designed by some many foreign and domestic manufactures that they alone exceed the population of allot of countries. There are litteraly billions of those two gun type alone. So what do you want? House to house search of the entire 300 million people in America? Is that what you want? Guns in the hands of store owners and private citsznes give the innocent victoms the opurtunity to derned themsleves. There is no logical way to refute that. Last night in Chitown sure as hell is no example of it not working.
