Let me take this bit by bit...first of all I think the world of my son in law! He's a good guy that I respect very much and I do know that if he says he's taught those kids, by golly he's taught those kids!

However, I also know that kids will be kids...and their curiosity gets peaked on occasion and they break the known rules of the house. That's just how it is with kids...and for you to say that you know where your child is "every second" I have to think either you are a very new parent and therefore inexperienced with raising kids or you're outright lying...take your pick.

I don't know if he has trigger locks or not on his guns, but if he does I wish he'd tell me cause he knows I worry about the kids!

Darlin I have my own buisness that allows me to be at home as much as I choose and also work from home as I do much of the time now days. My wife got into a bad truck accident about three four months ago so I take care of my daughter even when she is home. She plays out in the yard I bring the lap top to the table in the back and watch her play(7 foot fence all the way around the yard. I do laundry she goes with me to the laundry room and helps take clothes out of the hamper and put clothes into the dryer. I cook she helps and brings me the boxes and stuff and throws the empty boxes etc. in the trash(she loves to do that ,god knows why). She is not allowed by the gas stove while I'm cooking so I even built her a cool little protable step stool slash patio that I use to block her form getting to close but she gets up on it so she can see and I talk to her and we just well be silly. When I work in the shop she is right there I don't have stuff on the ground every tool has a place if you know what I mean. I put a block of wood in front of me and give her some sand paper and she goes to town because she feels she is helping me(she loves that). Hell I can't even take out the trash on sunday and wed with out her she wants to help so I give her the lite one out of the waste basket so she can drag it. I am with her from the moment I give her breakfast till I read her a story at night and tuck her in. I act like I'm smacking her moms leg and she laughs and thinks we are playing like when her and I wrestle(meaning me and my daughter wrestle) but let someone hit me even her mom and she goes balistic screems and starts crying and shaking her finger at them. Ya I am new but I tell you the truth it is my job to take care of her and make sure she is safe and learns something I take more serious then anything I have ever in my whole life. She is the joy of my life and I know It will not always be this way and I am not giving up one minute till I have to. If that was my daughter this happend to there would be no investigation I would walk strait out in front of a semi truck.
