You only need a money order or a Western Union to do it. There was an organization that collected firearms and rocket launchers for the Christian and Pagan's being wiped out by the Islams in Sudan, Libya and Lebanon. They quit sending aide to Lebanon when the Christians and Muslims sued for peace. They are however aiding Christians and Pagans and such in Sudan and Arab Africa.

Pardon me, but there's a distinction to be drawn between concealed carry and home defense.

Unless you really feel the need to carry a weapon given the simple fact that you can't defend yourself without it. Either way, when you leave your home, it's no longer home defense.

And when it's concealed and you're in a public place, it's a concealed weapon.

Get it? Let me illustrate further. I have recently moved to one of the murder capitals of the US, deliberately so. Dusk is coming soon. I think I'll take an evening walk. Just as I often take a pre-dawn walk. Right through the middle of it. When I take a walk, I do arm myself. With a book or newspaper.
That's all I need. The only weapons I've ever had to use for self defense in public have been a golf club, a stick, a knife that was in my car and the look in my eyes.

So tell me, What social or combat skills do you lack that make it necessary for you to carry a firearm in public places?

Or are you just a sad political operative who's a cowardly piece of crap, terrified of interacting with people who don't subscribe to the same horsecrap that you've sadly married yourself to? You're afraid.

When I was attacked by thirteen teenagers with baseball bats, and nearly beaten to death, while just trying to cross the street to get to my car - I would have loved to have had a concealed firearm.

Since I'm not Bruce Lee or Chuck Norris - I fail to see what 'social skill' or combat skill could have saved me from harm.

I'm pretty sure three weeks in the hospital and eight weeks with my jaw wired shut could have been avoided if I'd had a concealed carry permit back then.

Because you should not need to argue the Natural Right a person has to protect himself and his property. Crime goes down when Gun Control is loosened, period. Like the other dude said. I don't need your benefit or your doubt. There isn't much more to the story at all.

I was in D.C. with a high school buddy of mine at a bar. We had met some other folks from our graduating class for drinks.

When we left the bar and crossed the street to the alley where I was parked, we were attacked by this group of hoodlums.

If it wasn't for a passerby calling the police, I'm sure they would have killed us. The cops caught three of them and when asked, they said they were bored and were just having a few kicks. Most got off because they were under age - only two saw any jail time.

Btw - they were all rich white kids with too much time on their hands.
