In strict legalese, they have the same rights afforded any U.S. Citizen. But in reality, they aren't allowed those rights by the Federal Governments typical "give an inch, take a mile" legislation. But I guess the same holds true whether you live in a State or not...D.C. just gets some of the worst treatment. They can't get truly fair treatement comparable to the States, since they are taxed without representation. Not even the States get that kind of screwing.

You complicate things. Bottom line, is this a battle in America over Collective Rights vs Individual Rights. Who is gonna win? Let's find out. Cause if Collective Rights wins, noone has any rights.

Gun bans take the gun away from people that use it for sports, hunting and home defense.
Gun bans put the gun in the criminals hands so they can do what they want.

People don't kill people...lack of oxygen kills people.
I use guns for hunting and home defense, and a gun ban won't take that away...it'll just add me to the list of CRIMINALS who own guns for hunting and self-defense.

The day my state bans guns will be the day I mortgage my home to buy
allthe ones I can.I dont want street thugs to be the only one with them,
but I would be more worried of the government |

Start hiding them now. A Democrat Congress and President means the first things to go is Assault Rifles and Pistols.
You can wrap your guns in plastic and bury them in plastic tubs and they should last at least 5 years, even in humid/wet areas. Crawl Spaces under the house is good, and you can also hide anti-Obama/United Nations literature too.

Liberal, not neccessarily, a Democrat most definately. Liberals, should be liberal enough to defend the 2nd Amendments. Unfortunately, Democrats are not Liberal. It's like saying Republicans are Conservative. Which is an even bigger oxymoron.
