I'm Pro 2nd Amendment ! I'll State that up front .

But can anyone name anything specific that Bush has done to further strenthen the 2nd Amendment Rights of gun owners in this Country ?

Just because Bush has not further decimated the 2nd Amendment, Does not show Bush doing anything to stick up for the cause either.

I'm 41 and I cannot remember any school massacre's back in the day like we have now days.

Can it be that drugging our kids with rittalin, and other mind numbing, mood enhancing drugs that are legal, in combination with Hate rap music, and violent video games that our kids play all day and night long has some influence in these rampages ? I would say yes .

The Department of Justice filed an amicus brief on behalf of the Bush administration that, while arguing in favor of an individual right under the Second Amendment, urged the court uphold federal gun laws restricting the possession of firearms; and the Supreme Court granted an additional 15 minutes for oral argument by the Attorney General on the issue that was heard last month.

Hmmm, As a former certified instructor of CLEET (Council on Law Enforcement Educational Training) and at the time my state, Oklahoma, began the SDA (Self Defense Act) allowing private citizens to carry a concealed firearm we've noticed something expected and remarkable. Violent crime of all types was cut drastically each and every year.

Things that make you go Hmmmm.......

-Same can be said for every other state that has passed similar laws.

The thing some people choose not to understand is that they have nothing to fear from responsible good law abiding folks.

One other thing to note: over 85% of all extremely violent crimes are by repeat offenders! So the logical answer to solving over 85% of all violent crimes is to never release them from prison.

PROBLEM SOLVED!

It's true! You meet the kindest most polite people on gun ranges. Wonder why?

I am 42 and I am with you BigM, we used to duke it out. no guns, no knifes.
I think it has a lot to do with Video games. I still play them and it is not to hard to imagine some kid thiking that death is not for real after playing games like Medal of Honor or Black.
