Nothing can be done about idiot parents, unfortunately. Sorry about your friend Shadow...there are far too many incidents like that.

Ya that sounds better so those who grew up with it like many in the south don't have to be burdened with the whole class I like it.

Interesting story.
By Uncle purchased an old world war 1 machine gun. It did not work. He had to have it registered with the State.
A month of finding parts and rebuilding the stock he had it working again. Turned out they don't make or sell ammunition for it anymore, anywhere. Except for like Sudan or Somalia.
He bought it as a collector's piece to begin with. Has it in a case above his stereo in his living room. He has to spend 15 bucks a year on it just to keep the fucking state police from coming into his home and taking it.
He gave it to my brother in law, who lives in a bill of rights friendly state. No trouble at all with it. The Sheriff even came over one day and found him a brand of bullets that work with the gun and they shot some off at a shooting range.
It is funny to see the attitudes about private gun ownership when you ask a State or Federal Cop as opposed to most City and County Cops who are mostly in favor of people having them for protection.
Or even wall decorations.

Oh ther was a story on this guy when I was still in california this guy was like a world war two pilot or something I mean a pretty old guy. I think he lived in Washington or Oregon, anyway he had a huge gun collection he had aquiered over his lifetime. His health made it that he needed to move to a warmer year round climate so he sent a letter to the state of california and local authorities where he was looking to buy a house. The letter included a list of his guns, he did not want to move there if his collection broke the law or if he had to loose it. They sent him a couple of letters back stating that there was no problem yada yada yada. after he moved in they came to his house and took most of his guns stating that they were illegal to own there. Now tell me that is not bullshit. I was also in california when the first assault rifle list came out and by budy had an AK the funny thing they did is ask you to register them first like is was no big deal then they came out with the list. If you did not turn them in they would come to your house, take them and arrest you. On top of that in either case even if you turned them in wich was mandatory they paid you nothing for your weapon. My buddy never registered his so they never got his and he still lives there and has it. If they ever catch him with it he will go to prison just for owning it. Now this sounds more like Russia or some dictator ran country and one of the reasons I left california. The only thing most gun laws have done is make good American citazens into criminals where is the justice in that, what security purpose does that serve?

Heh, It was just kind of idiotic that they made my uncle register and pay to keep an unloaded machine gun built by the Ottoman Empire.
Kind of ridiculous. I doubt the damn thing could be fired by a single person anyways.

Well it is a growing problem in this country not just with gun laws. But justice and common sense is no longer the staple and ya I find it way idiotic and also think these law makers need to be neutered.
